german is officially over. the final went well, i believe. i'm going to miss my teacher, class mates, and german. i can't take 3 because it's 3 days a week in the morning. and i do have school to attend.... darn.
besides german. ACT, band pops concert, and senior gala on saturday. sunday flute party. i surpisingly have quite a bit of english to do. besides busy. oh! and i got another flute student! yahoo! anyway. with all my business, life is very happy. :) i can't believe there are only 3 more weeks of school. ridiculous. senior? no way.

the day seemed to drag on forever, then at the end the tuba section was marching and playing outstanding and i was so proud! then we went to aaron's house and shot arrows at each other at will rogers! SO MUCH FUN!!! then we had the band water balloon/super soaker/whip cream/baby powder/shaving cream/water bottle fight, which was absolutely drenching, but still amazing. then we almost got locked into a closing rite aid, drank monster energy drinks, ate lots of chocolate chip cookies, and tp-d some band houses while pelting more people with water balloons. then we got back to aaron's, his house was tp-d and "poofed", and then we watched Mulan. total of 2 minute sleeping time. it was so worth it!

the first week went really well! yahoo! go tubas!!! we won the first spirit stick, and francisco jumped out of a tuba case, and the tuba section watched "on the waterfront" at aarons house (quite an adventure), and our field show is pretty neat, and our march sounds like a carousel. :D pretty exciting i'd say!

so! today, is mr. sakow's birthday!!!!! yay! so i made my famous chocolate chip cookie cake for him tonight, because he didn't tell me it was his birthday today, so i couldn't make it for the exact day!!! i can't believe he didn't tell me! anyway, and michael koo's back from korea!!!!! wahoo! and orchestra auditions were at lunch today, i'm glad that's over with! and my sink pipe in my parents' bathroom started spurting hot water all over the floor and carpet of the hallway... so my mom was getting all stressed out, like she does best. then we called the plumber, and he fixed it! yay for mr. plumber! and my dad's coming back from england tomorrow! yay!!!!

wow! it seems like i haven't seen a computer in years! so a lot has happened since i last updated. where did i leave off? o ya.
so 2 weeks ago i was a counselor for a girl scout day camp called "camp stuff n' such". i was in charge of 4th graders... yes, quite adorable. so then last week i spent with my church youth group in lake shasta on a houseboat trip. IT WAS SPECTACULAR!!!!!!! wo, how do i start. well, every single one of us kids got so much closer to God, and a few of my good friends accepted Christ into their hearts during that week. our guest speaker was amazing, definitely a tunnel for God to reach us. everyone completely bonded with everyone else, i met so many new friends, and got closer to friends. the "sonshine staff" (people who organized the camp type thing for our church and some others, drove the houseboats, provided food, drove us on ski runs for water sports, etc.) were super and i got to be great friends with both of our boat's members, one especially, because we were both girl scouts, so there was one day were we were in the lake treading water for about 2 hrs. just singing girl scout songs with each other, it was so fun. wow, it was the best camp ever. on friday night we washed each other's feet and gave affirmations to the people's feet we were washing, and every night we would have an intense worship session where we would just pray and sing praise songs until we were yelled at to go to bed. wow. so we also got to do some water sports, i did wake boarding and tubing. wake boarding is super hard! i only rode it for about 5 seconds then fell, and this was after my 3rd day of trying. tubing was uber fun, but very violent. i ended up knocking my chin into my knees several times resulting in a headache, but i was lucky. most people got humungous welts on their arms or legs from knocking into the tuber next to you. but it was way fun. yay for houseboats! i got to spend much time with asia and corrie! yay!

and today was the first day of marching band camp! i'm so excited for marching band this year! there's not many freshman at all, and they're very disciplined and obedient, so most people know what they are doing which is very exciting. we have really kewl music, and dr. ramirez and sakow seem to have it together this year... waaay more than last year. and they have some new methods which seem to be working. wahoo!

AND!!!!! my sister left for college on thursday while i was gone. so far so good. she seems to be having a blast there. she's at BIOLA University in La Mirada. so i miss her.

i am leaving for a houseboats trip with my church youth group in about 15 minutes i believe. i'm so excited!

let's see... so last week i was a counselor for a girl scout day camp call "camp stuff n' such". super fun stuff! little 4th graders constantly hugging you and holding your hand, sitting on your lap, singing fun songs with them, playing fun games, learning yoga from one girl, doing gymnastics w/others.... way fun!

we arrived in copenhagen, denmark in the afternoon, then at night we went to the tivoli gardens

walt disney supposedly got the ideas for the design of disneyland from the tivoli gardens

this was one of their stages. everything there was so elaborate and colorful, and lighted

it was an amusement park, as you can see

hans christian anderson puppet show. with music and fireworks. these puppets were humungo!

see theres the ugly duckling coming out as a swan in the background. and a little fireworks to go with it :).

heehee! that was a bus we passed by. i wonder what "fart" means in danish...

here's a guard at a castle in copenhagen. i caught him walking. he was smiling
and talking to people, which is very unusual for a guard to do, but awesome!

SO. we get on the ship that afternoon. the next day is a sea day, which means we were at sea for the day, sailing. the day after that, we arrived in sweden.

there were beautiful parks EVERYWHERE. and did you notice that me and my

we found this super fun play park for kids with this teeter-totter kind of thing but it
spun around!!! how amazing is that??? then they had this eiffel tower type looking thing
made of ropes that you climb on! o man, it was the best!

we had to wear these shoe cover bootie things so we wouldn't scratch the floors in...

the peterhof palace in st. petersburg, russia. TOTALLY magnificent. LOOK AT ALL THOSE GOLD STATUES! GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD MY MY!

we spent two days in russia. in those 2 days, our family took three tours.
